Installation Instruction for Tree guards
1) Attach U-bolts to Tree Grate
The supplied U-bolts are inserted from below into the holes provided in the tree grating and the thread is screwed through the holes in the tree grating.
The following materials are available for one U-bolt each for this step:
• 1 piece U-Bolt M14
• 1 piece hexagonal cap M14
• 3 pieces nut M14 DIN 125
• 3 pieces washers M14
2) Screw the Tree Guard Parts Together
The two tree guard parts are screwed around the tree using the supplied screws:
• 6 Pieces hexagon head screws M8
• 6 Pieces washers M8
• 6 Pieces nut M8
3) Screw the Tree Grate to the Tree Guard
The tree guard is placed on the longer threaded part of the stirrup screw, which is fixed after adjustment.
The two tree guard parts are screwed around the tree using the supplied screws:
• 1 piece nut M14 DIN 934
• 1 piece washers
4) Result after installation
After installation is complete, the tree grate should be firmly attached to the tree grate.
