HYDROpur®-insert
Manhole covers have a coated HYDROpur®-insert. This polyurethane coating is connected to the manhole cover by a special process, whereby two components merge to form an innovative product.

The ECONpur manhole cover has the special, firmly cast HYDROpur® insert, which ensures rattle-free operation as well as low abrasion and wear values. Equipped with three spring arm locks, a secure position of the cover is ensured even under heavy load. The hinge also offers an ergonomic position of the lid.

Rattle-free operation
The HYDROpur®-insert ensures that forces are optimally damped and that no direct contact can occur between the cast cover and the cast frame.
Locking system
The spring locking ensures that the cover is securely positioned even under heavy loads and also provides protection against theft and vandalism.
Hinge
The hinge provides maximum safety during 90° locking against accidental closing of the cover, as well as in the 110° inspection position.

Lower surface pressure
The HYDROpur®-insert reduces the surface pressure by approx. 72 % (comparison with cover insert according to DIN 19584). As a result, the acting forces can be better absorbed.
Good resistance
The HYDROpur®-insert meets the resistance to the following substances:
- frost and de-icing salt
- chemical substances
- mineral oil
5 years warranty
We ourselves are convinced of the HYDROpur® insert and therefore offer a warranty period of 5 years on the HYDROpur® insert.
Slip resistance
The cover has a weight of 46 kg and ensures a slip resistance of R13 according to DIN 51130.
Self-leveling frame
A self-leveling frame is available for selection, which optimally transfers the traffic load into the roadway layers.
