Multipart covers provide continuous access to cables and pipes, thereby facilitating repair and maintenance work. The EXCELLENT system not only offers barrier-free access but also withstands heavy loads and protects against surface water. It can be installed either in rows or as individual units.
Features
High load capacity
The multipart cover complies with load class E600 (60-tonne test load) and is therefore ideally suited to high-load applications such as ports, military installations and critical infrastructure.
Installation without cross-braces
The multipart cover allows for unrestricted movement by omitting the cross-braces (optional).
Screw connection
The multipart cover features four screws per cover plate to ensure a stable and secure fit. The screws require minimal maintenance and, if necessary, can be quickly and easily replaced, including the lock nut.
Watertight
The multipart cover is watertight due to machined side and bearing surfaces, the use of special grease, and the screw-fastening of the cover elements.
Height-adjustable
The multipart cover can be easily leveled to the desired height using adjusting screws.
Product selection
Material Concrete/Cast iron
You can choose between concrete and cast iron covers. The concrete component provides good sound absorption, thereby reducing traffic noise.
Material cast iron with GRIP surface
The cast-iron cover is available as an option. This version features a GRIP surface, which offers excellent slip resistance.
