Round manhole cover ECON features a hinge for particularly ergonomic handling of the cover. The spring locking mechanism also ensures that the cover remains securely in place, even under heavy traffic loads.
Features
Hinge
The hinge allows the cover to be opened to an inspection position of 110 degrees. At 90 degrees, the cover can be easily removed.
Locking
The spring locking mechanism holds the cover securely in place, even under heavy loads. It also protects against theft and vandalism.
HYDROpren insert
The replaceable HYDROpren insert is made of polychloroprene in accordance with DIN 53505. It offers good abrasion resistance and a long service life.
Slip resistance
The cover weighs 44 kg and complies with slip resistance class R13 in accordance with DIN 51130.
Product selection
ECON with liftable frame
The smooth outer surface of the ECON H makes it easy to lift the frame. The wide support flange ensures maximum stability.
ECON with roll in frame
Thanks to its self-levelling frame, the ECON SN manhole cover adapts perfectly to the road surface level. This ensures that traffic loads are optimally transferred to the road surface layers, thereby providing long-term relief for the manhole cone. Furthermore, the manhole cover can be effortlessly rolled into the bituminous road surface layer, which simplifies installation.
ECON with turnbuckle and gas gressure spring
A gas pressure spring is available as an option for the particularly heavy cover with an clear width of 800 mm. This makes opening the cover considerably easier. In addition, a turnbuckle can be selected for this size. This protects against vandalism and unauthorised opening.
ECON with HYDROpur insert
The ECONpur features a permanently moulded polyurethane coating. This provides optimum shock absorption, prevents rapid wear and tear, and thus increases the manhole cover’s service life.
