Round manhole cover EURO was developed to provide a safe and ergonomic cover that is also very economically efficient. This has been achieved by making the manhole covers lighter in weight. Equipped with a spring locking system for a secure hold and a hinge for ergonomic opening, the product is an intelligent solution in terms of ergonomics, ecology and safety.
Features
HYDROpren insert
The replaceable HYDROpren insert consists of polychloroprene according to DIN 53505. The insert guarantees high abrasion resistance and longevity.
Locking
The spring locking mechanism holds the cover securely in place, even under heavy loads. It also protects against theft and vandalism.
Hinge
The hinge provides maximum safety during 90° locking against accidental closing of the cover, as well as in the 110° inspection position.
Slip resistance
Criss-Cross Design minimizes traffic roll-over noise and improves anti-slip.

The manhole cover with flange frame is available, which allows for a secure and flush fit on the cone.
Manhole cover with roll in frame
Thanks to its self-levelling frame, the EURO SN manhole cover adapts perfectly to the road surface level. This ensures that traffic loads are optimally transferred to the road surface layers, thereby providing long-term relief for the manhole cone. Furthermore, the manhole cover can be effortlessly rolled into the bituminous road surface layer, which simplifies installation.
Manhole cover with HYDROpur insert
The EUROpur features a permanently moulded polyurethane coating. This provides optimum shock absorption, prevents rapid wear and tear, and thus increases the manhole cover’s service life.
